I have a set of Giro Tune-ups for my snow helmet, but was frustrated by the cords getting in the way or tangled constantly. I'd considered getting the Bluetooth link ones instead, but disliked the thought of spending the $60+ on something that could *only* be used with the helmet. Enter the Clipper: this little wonder paired quickly with my Droid 3, clips to the earstrap on my helmet, and (with a short additional double-male 3.5mm cord) I could not only ditch the cord that came w/ the Tune-ups and control the volume, but also skip songs and answer calls all without having to dig my phone from my pack.
Off-season I'm using it in my car to skip songs without having to grope for my phone's touchscreen (the Clipper, in this case, is plugged into my car's audio). Better for safety all around since I can easily feel where the Volume up/Skip button is instead of having to look for it on the screen while trying to focus on the road too.
A few additional notes on this: My phone's micro USB charger can charge the Clipper, but the Clipper charger does not charge the phone. Being a non-audiophile, the oft-maligned earbuds are fine for me, but the cord is so short you'd only be using it with the Clipper. Even using gloves I can control the Clipper, but only through a bit of practice (because I have it attached to my helmet I can't actually see where the buttons are). It controls the default Android music player with perfection, and can control the volume of the third-party music apps I've tested, but once you hit the center button to play/pause it opens the *default* app, even if a third-party one is running already.

I really anticipate the day when they make wireless (ACTUALLY WIRELESS) audio earbuds. For now I thought to myself I'll settle with this. The product works well but let me explain my rating. The rating is simply a victim of my misconception. I thought that this would have 2 pieces, a receiver that hooked up to my earbuds, and a piece that would plug into whatever i wanted to broadcast from. I bought this thinking it would free me from being wired to my desktop and allow me to move freely in my office but was disappointed to find that it only received bluetooth (which my dated pc does not have) therefore i couldnt use it for what i intended. I now use it in my car to stream pandora wirelessly from my phone or on me personally. The range is lackluster as well. It is good if the source is on your person (with the jabra on you as well) but my second hope was that if i did decide to use this in the gym, i could leave the phone in my locker or a nearby cubby in the workout area, but alas, the range is only good for about 9 feet before it starts to break up and eventually cut out. Again, it wasnt advertiesed that it could reach such distances, i just had my hopes up. The most negative aspect of this piece for me is anytime you have to use it in a phone call. It just plain blows in that respect. Receiving a phone call when using this in my car becomes a frantic race to switch off the bluetooth before answering (or missing) the call because the mic just isnt good enough for the other person to hear what im saying.
Overall i do not regret the purchase and even with its limitations (under my perceptions and exaggerated expectations) it is a good buy for the price.

carefully reading and following the instructions, not one step worked properly on the device. there's no way to turn it off manually and no way to pair it once it's on (contrary to the user's guide). every piece of support from the website is insulting and helps in no way. after trying to get it to work for an hour with no luck, i'm returning it.
